US 1796 Myddleton Token Old Time Electrotype VF Details
US 1796 Myddleton Token Electrotype, 175 grains, VF details, old porosity and annealing cracks that likely transferred from the original, only a slight trace of base metal exposure. Light old edge marks/tooling, likely to conceal the seam. Quite possibly a museum piece from an old cabinet, further study is advised. An affordable and unique example of this rare British/Colonial Kentucky issue and still a pleasing copy of the Breen-1074, W-8900 variety.
